Best Business Practices Work Team

Early childhood education represents a $2 billion-dollar industry, but the bulk of child care and other early childhood education programs are mostly operated by individuals and organization that do not have the capacity to make use of economies of scale.  Program directors and providers are often educators and do not have deep knowledge of effective business practices.  To support programs and providers in developing effective business practices, the ECAC established the Best Business Practices Work Team to identify and disseminate resources and other strategies for supporting more effective business administrative practices.

Best Business Practice Work Team Membership List:  Co-Chairs: Jessica Klos, Director of Policy & Community Education, Early Care and Learning Council; Denise Dowell, Director Early Learning and Care Programs, CSEA.
